Adamiano Alessio
Since 2015, Alessio has been studying the application of calcium phosphate-based materials in agriculture, green chemistry, cosmetics, regenerative medicine and nanomedicine. He was one of the winners of the “Green & Sustainable Chemistry Challenge” promoted by Elsevier in 2018. In 2019, his project “phos-FATE” on the development of the circular economy of phosphorus by the conversion of fishery by-products into smart fertilizers was awarded by the United Nations Organization for Industrial Development (UNIDO) with the International Award for Innovation in Agri-Food for the U-35 category.
