Bernardoni Sara
PhD student in Materials Science and Technology at the University of Parma. Her research is focused on the design, development and characterization of innovative composite and hybrid biomaterials based on biopolymers and apatite phases, developed by means of biomimetic approaches and designed for applications in the biomedical field. In particular, the combination with ions and bioactive molecules with an antimicrobial and regenerative function makes them multifunctional and suitable to offer innovative solutions for the treatment of skin wounds and diseases that are often infected and difficult to heal.
