The postdoctoral research activity withing the ERC project “NANOVOLC – Nanoscale dynamics of volcanic processes: Experimental insights and numerical simulations of explosive eruptions” is focused on the investigation of structural, rheological and physico-chemical properties of both natural and synthetic volcanic melts and glasses by means of in situ experimental and analytical techniques at high temperature and pressure at synchrotron radiation facilities.
