The main objective of the Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnership Biotech-Ma project is the development of an innovative second cycle joint degree programme in biotechnology, to provide biotech graduates with additional chances to find a suitable career position. The global biotechnology market is today a major growing sector and represents an important and concrete employment opportunity for young biotech graduates. However, what most of the existing biotechnology curricula are still missing is a good connection between the Academia and the increasingly complex business environment. In this context, the main objective of the Biotech-Ma project was to develop an innovative second cycle joint Master programme in biotechnology, designed by five universities in Italy, Spain, Hungary, France and the UK, one Research Center (ISTEC-CNR) and a Biotechnology Industry Park (Silvano Fumero), with the direct involvement and collaboration of the European biotech industry.
