The Hi-SCORE project is primarily aimed at the field of instrumental mechanics, and aims to incorporate and solve some of the quests related to the various actors’ demands of a growing productivity that necessarily goes through a continuous improvement of technologies.
The search for an increasing sustainability combined with the reduction of the environmental impact, the increase in performance and the development of self-adapting machines are well known guidelines in the current Horizon 2020 European program.
The project Hi-SCORE sees the collaboration of “Macchine Utensili e Sistemi di Produzione (MUSP)” center located in Piacenza and the National Research Council (CNR) – Institute of Science and Technology for Ceramics (ISTEC-CNR) located in Faenza, together with several small/medium companies.
The project will innovative develop technical solutions to manage and save energy, to replace lubricating mineral fluids with cryogenic ones. The objective is to achieve a two-fold effect to increase performance and reduce the environmental impact.
The broader impact of the project will involve in parallel different technologies that contribute to characterize and define the machining performance. The increase in performance will be sought both in terms of technological design solutions and during operations.
The industrial partnership is composed of important companies: AMADA ENGINEERING EUROPE (Pontenure, PC), CAPELLINI s.r.l. (Podenzano, PC), COHAERENTIA s.r.l. (Milano), GRUPPO CMS s.p.a. (Marano sul Panaro, MO), JOBS s.p.a. (Piacenza), MANDELLI SISTEMI s.p.a. (Piacenza), MCM s.p.a. (Vigolzone, PC), PAMA s.p.a. (Rovereto, TN).
