Energy-Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence (EDXRF)
Supervisor: Chiara Zanelli, Sonia Conte
Benchtop instrument for solid and liquid samples, prepared or bulk, for the analysis from sodium to uranium (Na-U). Detectable elemental concentrations in the samples can range from ppm up to 100%.
Instrument configuration
Detection limits, precision and speed in EDXRF by HighSense™ technology:
X-ray tube with up to 50 W power and 50 kV excitation;
Optimal Light Element (LE) configuration with thin-window X-ray tube and XFlash® X-ray detector;
Autonomous analysis of up to 20 samples;
Sample type and order can be changed at any time, even during a measurement.
