The CNR spin-off Recover Ingredients S.p.A. by the researchers of the Institute of Science and Technology for Ceramics (Istec) of Faenza, Alessio Adamiano and Michele Iafisco, was selected among the “100 best industrial innovations for international technology transfer” in the 2021 edition of China Zhongguancun (ZGC) Forum. In 2021, over 2800 technology projects from 36 countries participated in this prestigious competition, which aims to promote international cooperation to facilitate technology transfer. 94 Chinese and international experts chose the 100 projects from 15 different countries.
Recover Ingredients develops “green” processes according to a circular economy approach for the recovery of food industry by-products and their conversion into high value-added materials for the production of innovative natural cosmetics and smart materials for agriculture.
