We are glad to announce the first Italian Workshop for young ceramists targeted at students and young researchers at the early career stage from any of the ECerS member and associated countries who deals with ceramic materials in the field of Synthesis, Processing, Sintering, Microstructure, Properties and Modeling.
The event aims at I) increasing awareness towards the importance of the method of presenting research data and II) debate about ceramic science and technology in a fully multidisciplinary context. In addition, the candidate that will represent Italy at the Student Speech Contest at the XVI ECerS Conference in Turin will be selected.
3 Invited speakers will provide useful insights on a variety of approaches to enhance the research results via different communication routes, like soft skills to improve the capability to perform an appealing presentation; introduction to new types of publications (videos, data papers); and how to write, submit and promote papers, sharing and showcasing research data.
It is a great opportunity for young professionals to improve the quality and fashion of presenting research data!
Prizes are foreseen for the 1st best oral scientific presentation and 1st and 2nd best lecture in the frame of the Student Speech Contest.
